HistoryThe uniqueness of DigIT Technologies lies in the fact that the company was founded by a group of people who grew up with you in the world of day-to-day litigation. In 2003, the founder of the company had a conversation with the Associate General Counsel of a global corporation who expressed the immense amount of frustration he experienced with discovery related to a (then) recent high-profile case. The AGC recounted the length of time discovery took for this matter, which resulted in over-collecting mountains of information which in turn, resulted in overspending on attorney review fees. At the end of the day, only three percent of what was collected was found relevant to their case. This conversation was the catalyst for the three-year development of what today is known as the only software application that allows legal teams to search and cull ESI prior to preservation and review, saving corporations significant sums of dollars.
